this kettle is not stainless steel as described!!
I bought this kettle because in the description it says stainless still. when received it I've discovered iit's completely plastic inside! the stainless still is ONLY outside as in the picture and all plastic inside. when you boil it it has absolutely terrible taste of plastic! I tried to boil it lots of times, tried to add lemon, wash it, you name it, but nothing helps the water has terrible taste and smell.
Welld designed but water smells with plastic.
Unlike most electric kettles this one holds heat, due to internal lining and the cover over the spout. It does not take much space and the handle is well balanced.
Smells when new, and after trying to rinse with soda and using it for a week the smell is still there.
T-fall is a reputable company and for them not to research the material they use is not excusable. Returned today...
This is actually PLASTIC!
The outside of the tea kettle might be stainless, but the INSIDE IS PLASTIC! The heated water tastes just like plastic too! I would definitely NOT recommend this product, unless you like the taste of plastic. Nowhere in the description does it say that your water will be boiled in plastic -- very deceptive.
