It is actually very compact and fun to use. Cleans up easy and waffles are authentic style. It's very cool and people will love it when you make these kind for them. Great seller too. I recommend it. Only caveat is that if you got a big family it may take a bit more time to make large quantities because it seems designed for more modest use.
As good as it gets
I grew up in Hong Kong and I have eaten a million egg puffs / eggettes / bubble waffles, and this machine is GOOD. I used to have a stove top one, but it's very difficult to control the temperature. This electric one works like a charm everytime. It took me a few practice to figure out the tricks, and basically what you need to do is that as soon as you put the batter in, flip it right away and cook 5 minutes. This is the only way I can get it to make nice round puffs. If you don't flip it the bubbles don't rise all the way up.
The only minor complain is that the size of the bubbles are a little bit smaller than those in HK, but all in all, this maker is really really good.
This bubble waffle makes waffles as good as those in the night market!
Excellent product. I was making the same waffles as those that were sold at the night market at a fraction of the cost. Worth every dollars! Just be creative with different mixes. Clean and easy.
