Used this to replace hose in a Kenmore Dishwasher Model 587.16142405 and had worked well since !!
The part is a few dollars cheaper than the PartsDirect web site that the manufacturer recommended.
And, since being a Prime member, the delivery is way, way so much faster compared to the PD ordering process (I had purchased an item from them & it took the better of 2 weeks!).
We purchased the house with the brand-new washer installed & after we tried it, we discovered that the unit was not working as it was supposed to - the detergent spilling from the holder & plates were not cleaned at all, etc.
I had to replace this hose as well as some other rubber parts (also via Amazon) under the tub as mice chewed on them.
I had to take out the whole dishwasher out of its space to replace this hose and, lo and behold, I discovered that there was a sizeable opening on the wall where the dishwasher flushes in at the back (how can you see this, the first time??).
Mice came in via a pipe opening under the house & got inside the house via the...
worked but...
worked but the lower fitting angle was not right and it layed on a sharp metal edge. I had to make a shield to keep it from being cut by the sharp edge.
Perfect Fit!
Could not find the this for my dishwasher at the local hardware store so I was skeptical about it working but it was a perfect fit!
