Better than my last George Foreman Grill with a few exceptions
Overall, this model is a step up from my last George Foreman Grill. This is actually the third George Foreman Grill that I have purchased.
First, ignore the initial smell that you get when you first use it. This will go away and is probably a result of packaging.
Grill Plates: These are an improvement over the coating on the last model I have. They are lighter and and coated better and easier to clean. I did NOT have to use cooking spray on them such as Pam. Try not using cooking spray and you'll see that the results are good.
Temperature: This model does not have a temp. gauge. That would be a worthy additional feature but not absolutely necessary. However, it does take 7 to 10 minutes to really warm up for cooking. And, although the temp dial it does have goes from low to high, I only use High (all the way) because that is the only way to get it to heat up enough to cook things.
Panini Functionality: I must say that after some...
I love the grill
I love the George Foreman Grill. Its the perfect size for making two or three meat cuts all at once. The one thing i was dissapointed in is that I thought it came with various plates and it just came with the one set of plates. Other than Im in love. The temperaturew control is a great feature. The removable plates make it a breeze to clean. The hidden grease holder is great cause you dont loose it. And the option to incline or not the grill also makes it more versatile.
Poor quality
The machine is not very powerful when cooking as a grill, fine with paninis. The meats took forever to cook and were still undercooked at the highest temperature.
