cheap, generic, and doesn't fit.
I ordered this product and you can tell it is definitely generic. the "pet hair" red line thing on it is basically just velvet (nothing compared to the bristle like pet hair line on the actual Dyson parts that came with the vacuum) it was too big for my DC24 attachment- wouldn't even stay on. My recommendation is to buy all parts through Dyson. Don't go through the hassle I did of waiting for a product that doesn't even work with the vacuum it says it will, and then have to bother sending it back. TRUST ME! I usually think negative reviews are just bitter people but I am a happy person just annoyed I had to go through the hassle of paying for this then having to send it back. cheap, generic, and doesn't fit.

Read the rest of the reviews - I wish I had when I order it!! It does not fit my DC24 and is very CHEAP!! This company ought to be fined and Amazon should bar them before they get a bad name...

Part number listed is for a genuine Dyson part. If you go to the Dyson website and type in that part number it will tell you the dc23 stair tool attachment is
